Passages privacy policy
Last updated: 15 May 2026. This notice explains how Passages uses personal information when you visit passages.live, create an account, start a trial, pay for membership, save flight trackers, receive emails, or contact support.
1. Controller and contact
Passages is responsible for the personal information used to operate the service. Contact sentinelholdings1@gmail.com for privacy requests, access requests, deletion requests, corrections, or objections.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your email address, password authentication data, account status, subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, home airport, saved destinations, saved route/date trackers, target prices, watched flight numbers, email alert preferences, cancellation feedback, support messages, signup attribution, device/browser information, IP address, pages visited, and basic product analytics.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide the member dashboard, process billing, operate trials and subscriptions, save preferences, run route/date trackers, send password reset emails, send deal alerts and daily digests, provide support, prevent abuse, understand product performance, comply with legal obligations, and maintain records of transactions and account activity.
4. Lawful bases
We use account, billing, dashboard, tracker, and support information because it is necessary to perform the contract with you. We use some records to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and consumer protection obligations. We may use limited analytics, security, attribution, and product improvement data where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving Passages. Where we rely on consent for optional marketing or cookies, you can withdraw that consent.
5. Who we share information with
We use service providers to run Passages. These may include Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments and billing portals, Redis or database providers for storage, Resend or Gmail SMTP for emails, analytics providers, and flight data providers. We share only what is reasonably needed for those services to work. We may also share information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect users or Passages, or as part of a business transfer.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Passages does not store full card numbers. Stripe may process payment details, billing details, fraud signals, and transaction records under its own privacy terms.
7. Emails
We send transactional emails such as password resets, billing-related messages, deal alerts, and daily tracker digests. You can turn deal emails off in settings. We may still send account, security, billing, or legal emails where needed to operate the service.
8. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
Passages may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand signup attribution, and protect the service. You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking essential storage may stop parts of the site from working.
9. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK or your country. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards, provider data processing terms, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
10. Retention
We keep account information while your account is active. We keep billing, tax, fraud prevention, and transaction records for as long as legally or operationally required. We keep support messages, cancellation feedback, and product logs for a reasonable period so we can resolve issues and improve the service. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live and the lawful basis used, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise rights, contact sentinelholdings1@gmail.com.
You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so you should use a strong password and keep your login details private.
13. Children
Passages is not intended for children. Do not create an account if you are under 18.
14. Updates
We may update this privacy policy as the service, law, or providers change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
